What is the KEGG database? ¶
KEGG is a database resource for understanding high-level functions and utilities of the biological system, such as the cell, the organism and the ecosystem, from molecular-level information, especially large-scale molecular datasets generated by genome sequencing and other high-throughput experimental technologies.

How do I access it?¶
Send an email to scg-action@lists.stanford.edu and you will receive a document with the website, username, and password for accessing the KEGG Database.
What are the rules of access?¶
Anyone at Stanford can access the database and its data, and you can share the data with anyone else at Stanford, provided you or they are a) not in collaboration with any commercial entity or b) providing for-profit products or services.
